Hey guys my problem started after i put my exhaust on, car was backfiring when ide hit boost, so i put new splitfire coil packs and it started pulling hard again.

but a little manual boost controller in under the hood and got it wound to about 10psi, i plant it and it pulls hard at the low end, then revs pick up and it kinda dies in the ass, doesnt back fire or anything just doesnt really go anywhere. then wen its just about to hit redline it pulls hard again. Dunno wat the fucs going on! i just bought myself an afc neo. If i get a tune should that fix the problem?

Mine was exactly like this after I fitted my FMIC and still had the standard ECU. Hardly any mid-range at all. I know what you mean about it going harder when it's not on full throttle. Checked the ignition timing and it was fine. As soon as I plugged the PowerFC in, the problem went away. I'd definitely say it's running stupidly rich with the standard ECU, so a tune should do the trick!

Standard r33 protection of motor. Richen up the mixtures and retard the timing. Your at the point where the standard ecu won't cut it.
