Calvin Harris \ Cypress Hill \ Rapture were all incredibly good and cypress hill finishing off with Rock Superstar- Need you say any more.

Kanyes act was insane but what let him down was the dumb pingpingpingping doing the sound board. The Bass level was higher then vocal levels and made him sound terrible.
Good to see he played old and new at least.

I went primarily to see Pharoahe Monch. Apart from the roots 07 and de la's 03 performance, this would have to be one of the best hop hop sets played in Perth. His first trip to Perth too. His band were funky fresh aw yeah. They were all sooo energetic and into it. Concious hip hop at its finest. And props to Armee for playing a dope set beforehand. Can I kick it? Yes you can!

Good - tons of bars, tons of toilets. B live stage was well layed out, and the main stage had plenty of room.

Bad - pathetic layout of some of the area - wasnt the laundry shoved into a corner next to the bins ? There was plenty of room up around cloud 9 etc.

what the fuck was with getting in there - parked at the casino... they had blocked off one lane of the causeway, figured cool, walk along it, turn in done. instead it become a mission under the bridges, over the other side, back under, through a paddock, back over the bridge. Pretty shit.

I got no issues walking, but just seemed silly.

I saw Cypress Hill at Metro's City a few years ago, they were f*ckin amazing...did all of their good stuff, but obviously at a Festival they are limited to how much they can do.

A Festival really works on the basis of the sum of all the acts putting on a good show. If you're going just for one or two of them, you'll probably walk away disappointed if they are anything less than 100% awesome.

Kanye's set was brilliant, not sure what the problem is.

First half was great, he played a lot of stuff i didn't expect so i could understand the frustration.

Planned to see Cypress but it clashed with A-Trak, i figured i'd see half his set but he was too good to walk away from and Kid Sister was hot.

Pharoahe was brilliant but i had to leave before the end, gave up front row and all. Not many people i'd leave Monch's set early for, but Kanye is one of those.

Rest that i saw was pretty bleh. Thievery Corporation would've killed it had they been on later.
