I've heard the "whipped" line a few times this weekend already, but I just have to say...the word "whipped" wasn't even invented when Mandee and I started going out, so it doesnt count :D :D :D

As for life being over...not meaning to sound philosophical or anything, but I believe its just started, as its the next step in my ultimate life/career goal, and Mandee is part of that :)

First half of the year would be tough to get being this close and all, I've only barely managed to find a spot in the first week of May for my wedding (booked it two weeks ago), everywhere else I called they are all booked out Feb till late May, I'm talking saturdays though. Although you'd still be able to find something if you look hard enough. 12 months from now would probably be more realistic though.

And expensive? Pfff, I'm already feeling the pain and it hasn't stung me yet :lol:

Mine is my 1st choice, only had to shift the dates from march till may... Tawarri in Dalkeith, right on the river :boink: Friends had their wedding there and I was impressed, so might as well have it there myself too.

And research wise, we did look at others, and seriously prices per person are almost same everywhere, whether a top quality venue, or some half decent, down to near dodgy places... of course then some include extra stuff which you'd need to pay for otherwise so it works out cheaper. Meh, as long as folks pay for it I don't care, just gotta fake poverty for the next few months and it'll all be good :D
