Overtaking people in the emergency lane is quite stupid but it gets a laugh.

so far i have heard a few comments about (a black wrx) overtaking

1: "who is that tool in the black wrx overtaking people in the emergency lane"

2: "all i saw was a black flash"

3: "he must have been pulling at least 200km/h"

4: " $60,000 and he is doing that? "

man people dont expect pple to do that dumb shit ull cause an accident. just overtaking on the inside is illegal let alone in the emergency lane. i dont even like pple going up the inside/left lane at 140 odd on cruises let alone emergency lane. plus parked cars and motorbikes and shit can be there that u dont see at first glance. or dirt/rocks/debris can be there such as a large peice of rubber from truck retreads that always flies into the emergency lanes u could also hit that and either crash into a pole by the side of the road or pop a tyre or something and spear across lanes infront of numerous other cars.

just leave that shit out. overtake in right lane if you must and then pple dont need to have eyes in the back of their heads wen on the freeway like is the case half the time on cruises.

fair enough it probly aint the right thing to do, but alot of people do it in un neccessary situations running the risk of injuring or killing yourself, or someone else, but is it ok to go on cruises and race to stupid speeds around corners, over hills, or even in a straight lines etc to which you run the risk of doing the same (injuring or killing yourself, or someone else) as ive seen this on many of cruises including antilag ones...

OK - i will tell you your wrong. when people go fast around corners they are on the "ROAD" and its usually the dickheads that do it recklessly out of control ! when you go around a corner on the road, no one is going to be stopped in the middle of the road with a frikken flat tyre, and if they do becuase they just cant move the car, im sure they wouldnt be standing close to their car.

i dont care WHAT THE HELL YOU SAY you cannot EVER JUSTIFY THAT using the EMERGENCY lane is OK to OVERTAKE. if you even CONSIDER THINKING that your a brain dead moron that should be the person be the one getting killed, not the innocent person using it for what its there for.

i completely argee about the speeding around the corners and all that shite. yeah i go on cruises, but we usually go to have a look at the cars, we usually dont last after 2 meet points, if that, and if my b/f starts speeding, i usually have a go at him because its not worth being that stupid, let alone his car/licence.

we dont go hooning or do burnouts or anything, last time we went with nathan and stayed with him (got lost might i add, for going our own way away from the pack) and then we all went home.

so yes i do agree on that, and killing someone by a blown tyre going like an idiot. but that can also happen from not being an idiot.

im just tryng to say to who ever started this thread that its stupid regardless of an excuse, and they shouldnt be bragging about it

Every club has their minority members. That being said a lot of the members from this club do actually practice what they preach and mantain a level of behavoir on the road that is above the average VK driving hoon.

Bottom line is that every member is responsible for their own actions and if something does happen then it's no ones fault but their own. Antilag (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) does in no way condone this behavior in any way.

It's up to the members of a club to maintain it's standards... save the dangerous stuff for track days.
