I need to know what can be done to get a 10mm spacer to fit on the front safely.I'm wanting to get one welded onto the actual rim but nobody seems to be able to do this
I have longer studs so thats not a problem but the spacer is.
Has anyone had it done and if by who.

just bolt it all up, no need to weld anything. as long as the nuts have enough thread to grip on it shouldnt be a problem.
I've been running spacers on the front of my car, since i installed coilovers 6 months ago and have had no problems.

10mm's not thick enough to get the countersunk type is it?All the ones I've seen are 20mm and bigger with the studs in them.

you could go for some bolt on spacers for piece of mind

your right, would be dificult to have bolt on spacers made at that width, considering the spline alone on a stud is about 10mm. i have 20mm spacers if you want to see if the wheel will still fit with a spacer that large. If not you shouldnt have any probs sticking a couple 5mm spacers in there, know of a GT forrester running two 5mm spacers a side to clear brembo's and no probs in the last yr.

running 1 10mm spacer would be safer than 2 5mm spacers.

20mm is to much and I've decided I will get some made up on a lathe with a lip for the rim to rest on.
