Was a good cruise, except for:
the guy who stacked his car - damage looked minimal, could have been a lot worse, i know how ya feel mate
the cops - only 1 person got pulled over i think?
the weather - only started raining near the end

My first impressions of an Antilag cruise where at the big roundabout at Morley ... now lets see

... some red car screaming around the roundabout with the passenger actually sitting up on the window ledge of the passenger door at 80Kmh screaming like a lunatic and waving ... NO i didn't take yer' picture you twat !!

10 seconds later the P plater in the white 300ZX spins full 180 degrees whilst gassing it out of the roundabout and facing the other way nearly has a concertina effect with a van and 2 other cars that had nothing to do with the cruise.

Approx 15 seconds later there's more screeching of tyres and a black car sitting in the dirt bogged to its axles.... his mates decide to block the road some 10 metres further up ... by this stage the local residents are out in force and there goes another one for public image and we all wonder why the cops are coming down hard these days ...

Sorry folks, but gotta' say it.

Now to the positives;

At Midland EVRYONE behaved themselves and I was impressed that in full public view of the Sunday shoppers there were no burn outs and speeds were right down.

Score BIG brownie points there for public perception - I was watching the 'public' watching us :)

Likewise at Mundaring ... more positive Brownie points.

Lots of photos taken, if you got flashed at some mystery point then that was either a radar or me !!

Will be putting pressure on Hot 4s for Mega coverage - am aiming for more than a normal cruise patrol feature.

I have been in several gtr's and thought they coudbnt be launched on. thats until i went in this certain white rex. let me tell you my gtr is never going to launch that hard.

Not much will come near this rex in a traffic light battle even a 100km roll on for that matter unless your packing serious horse.

For all those arrogant assholes out there. You will prolly find out sooner or later. On a different note . Cruise was pretty good chopped a few cars in the shitter pullstart and had a good day.

That WRX is turning things over. Yeah I rekon a good constant 4WD should outlaunch the GTR, and yes, I still cant get over how quick that WRX is, im suprised mine kept up with it because Im sure its used for leaving most cars for dead.

I wasnt much a fan of the newer WRXs either, over here in melb. my cousin recently bought a MY01 WRC blue coloured rex. This only has a full exhaust, induction - and I was amazed by its decent power, launch-ability and its surefoot handling and grip when hammering it around corners.

Very good car, enthusiasts must enjoy driving them.

I admit that there are some WRX's around that shit on GTR's and from what I've heard Seans is fukkin bullshit quik and I don't doubt that. I'm just sick of all these fukkin losers running around in stock WRX's that think they're the fastest thing on wheels. :wank: I love GTR's cos of what they are. All to they're own hey. My opinion doesn't really count anyway... I drive a 1 tonne ute with a 350 chev... I can't launch!!! :werd:

Wrx is great car on a budget if you gona go for outright 4wd power and speed then a GTR will shit all over a rex. Someone said this rex has run 12.6 down the strip most gtr with stock internals and turbo upgrade run in the 11s so rexs are good, gtrs are better :boink:

Was good to put a few more faces to names too.

i have to agree with rick on what he said

to the owner of the pearl 300zx with p plates, learn to fucking drive mate.

1) your rear lhs rim is buckled, probly caused by poor control of your car and hittin a solid object, we witnessed you sliding around ,and your swerving all over the road ala F1 tyre warming styles, i dont know if you realise how dangerous it was when you swerved at a Icecream van on the way to midland

2) doing burnouts at meetpoints, then losing control and having a certain red pulsar try and copy you, yeah great way to attract attention from the boys in blue.

Other than that it was very well behaved by all, gotta say the amount of time, effort and stress it takes to coordinate a map, find food stops and enough room to park and also collect payment for maps should be more appreciated by all, if it wasnt for tj's effort antilag cruises wouldnt go ahead.
