Xbox360 Extends there Warranty

Sort of.

I dont know about you guys but a shitload of my mates have had the 360's die on them (3 red lights). Microsoft have just annouced that they are going to repair any xbox's with that issue now FREE for 3 years from original purchase date and anyone that may have pay for a repair should also get refunded.

How long have people left their machines on before they have done the 3 red lights? I've left mine on for days on end and never had it happen but after reading about everyones doing it on here and forzamotorsport.net decided to buy a $5 fan and sit it behind the machine. Seems to cool it down abit.

ive left mine on for a few days, but only on idle, it makes the most noise and heat while your cranking a game, so cant really compare.

apparently 5-6 hours solid playing is enough to cause trubble.
