i love sneaking up on people and opening my external waste gate, on the street, people at the bus stop, cruises, in the northbridge tunnel (that ones sending me deaf).
My lastest victim.... Mr C Red Jeff Ash last night on orong road.
Hahaha.
anyone else been gated* or enjoy the gate.
* Disclaimer. The gating does not have to be from me, if you respond after the cruise on the 22 August it probably was me!

I have both gated, and been gated. I quite enjoy it, and plan to get my own very soon.

i have been gated, once by you tristan as i saw you drive past and once by the dood in the blue gtr with the white advan's when we had a drag, i was winning for about 3 seconds :D hahah

Yeah, that's Jayde Fischer's blue GTR with the white advans.. I've raced it before in Mark's Cefiro, nice loud gate, fuckin quick car. (low 11s) :drool:

RR32WA has a pretty noisy screamer :) very very very loud through the tunnels

yeah dave gates everytime he drives past leach hway ehhe, sounds pretty awse.

Yes it is loud :squint: I found out after he let it rip next to me and my mate riding our pushies on the road so you can imagine how farking loud it was :shake:

magic1 has copped it from me in the past but i know he will get me back twice as hard now :)

recent gatings ive had? that dirty green s14 caused a small trickle of blood from my right ear last cruise. this cruise i'll be car hopping with vid cam to capture these golden moments.

I love gating.After the antilag dyno comp i gated some guy in a club sport down the freeway at 100k's.I just pulled it back to 3rd and opened the gate which brought on the wheelspining limiter banging action and pulled it out to the limiter in 5th.The guy followed me into the servo at the end of the freeway and said he couldnt believe the roar as i went past him and wanted to know what the flames were under the car.All he kept saying was gotta get some of those turbos and screamer for the clubby.The gate is allways good when driving past ya mates workshop or house as they know who it is straight away.

gating is mad..i love when the oldies put their hands over their ears and dive out the way....tunnel gating is hardcore...its so rare u hear an external gate open on the street though....

gating is pure horn - jash had windows up so he was semi immune to it !
i gated a school bus just recently - full of kids , gotta love the reaction all the boys hanging out window hahaha

Gating is a sport worth your learning
Evil gating ..... 2am on walcott butters creeps up in 2nd gear on a drunken couple..... and gates them over a hedge ... sweet same stretch of road we spot a known car nut by the road turn around then line him up for a ear piercing gating ..... 2 for 2.
the setup... rolling up next to another car give them the signal to wind window down...... then gate them its a buetifull thing, you can tell this as it brings tears to their eyes

If you havent seen the latest High Octane dvd then you need to just see it for the R34 track cars gate openin up.
Bought the dvd yesterday and its funny how a 34 with a joke gate can make a room full of men go weak at the knees :lol:
Being a lancer driver ( :lol: ) i have been gated by no doubt half of WA that actually own one. WRX ETA's was alot of fun when Tobz owned it.
IMO - BOV scaring is for newbies, gate scaring is where its at :werd:

when I had my RB20 with external gate setup was great fun. some bogan would try to race and if the window was open it would be perfect to just scream past. Next set of lights they'd be rubbing their ears h0h0h0.

i saw this at simons place...FARK it was sooo funny....the VN is dropping this "killer" burnout..then simon just starts arkin it up and his car is fukn shaking it is so GODDAMN loud man - u could not hear the VN at all hahahha~!
