I don't know enough about WRXs and there's none around here (KL, everyone drives EVO's) were I could do the measurments to confirm but what I would like to know is if with a bit of modification you can can the BUNGeye headlights for the new style WRX headlights.. like a strawberry s13 2 S15 conversion.

Because damn I hate the BUNGeye.. I don't think even SPESHALS skills could make one look good :D

Yes it's possible. Easy Street's 10 second WRX in the USA has this conversion.

New bonnet, new lights, new grille, new fenders, new bumper. So basically you need an entire front half of the car. Plus painting almost half the car if you don't have the same colour panel's. Not worth it. I looked into it, and I think it was going to be about 4-5k or so. Just get some STi lights and an MY01/2 looks just as good as MY04 in my opinion.

You could also buy yourself a set of carbon fibre WRC style lights. Would be almost as expensive as the MY04 parts though.

Yeah, you can get the replica's quite cheap, well cheaper than STi lights.

www.takakaira.com (http://www.takakaira.com) has the WRC style lights but they're VERY expensive cause they're genuine carbon fibre.

yah looking at the maths of it .. most 02's are in the mid 30s.. spending 5 k would bring it close to price of a 04.. ah well just a thought!

Nah not for me.. Mate want's a newish Rex but can't afford it. You know I don't like 4 doors.
Elise is a dream.. but not even I would spend that much money on a car.. RX7 is feasable.. S15 would be the cheap car alternative.
