hey sau server is down so i thought why not ask here...
so what would be a good turbo upgrade for my 25 in my r33 s1
looking for about 350-400hp, i have an safc2, would that be ok (retuned of course) or would it be a good idea to swap over to something better... i dont want to if its not required.. also what size injectors would be sufficient? 550cc ok? or maybe 740's?
thats it for now, i already have a decent fuel pump and the basic mods (fmic, exhaust, filter etc)

Garrett 3540
6boost manifold or similar, quality external wastegate
power fc with a z meter to replace the safc
550s be fine
Assuming everthing else is there real clutch turbo back exhaust

Sweet. Any other ECU you can recommend besides the PFC? I thought they dont make them anymore?
Also how would a TD-06 or good t3/4 go, power wise?
pfc is still available
greddy emanage ultimate is ok
or start looking for microtech autronic motec f con pro etc
tons of ecu options
td-06 i have on my rb20 is better suited for a 25, i make 383hp@ 24psi with it but on a 25 you wont need to run that boost to see the same numbers. if you go on the hunt for one you need to use the 16c rear housing which is also external gate
outherwise a garret GT30 with internal gate would be more than sufficiant for the power your looking to get and will be responsive power.

good budget ecu to use would be a EMS stinger. do away with the afm all together (no restriction on the inlet) as it runs built in map sensor. unforunatly not available as plug n play but having it wired to the factory loom isnt a major task

the td06 seems like a good idea...
the only thing putting me off getting something from a big brand name is the price like on the GTRS...
anyway can i get some prices guys, for the td06 (ive seen one cheap at jshop), the GT3040, EMS stinger
i'm running an hks gt-rs on an rb25det which makes 350hp @ 16psi, if you really want 400 or more then i'd suggest at least a gt30 with an external wastegate setup. you'll be needing a new exhaust manifold and of course the wastegate too.
don't bother with the safc, go for a standalone ecu, a powerfc would probably be the cheapest option.
555cc injectors would be fine, and as mentioned you'll want a z32 air flow meter too.
Researching prices these days is just oh so hard, with the internet and all.

a GT30R with a .86 rear housing would great for a 2.5L IMHO wont take 2 gears to spool and will get you very respectable power while staying in decent boost numbers

i think 330-350 would be enough actually now that i think about it

GT3037 with 38mm external gate, if on a budget china manifold will have to do.
another vote for the GT30R(go the 3076 not the 3040)with IWG,probably 0.82 turbine housing for your hp goal, any higher and you may want the EWG version
and yeah 6Boost manifold if $'s stretch that far
