Ive recently bought a VY ute to use as my daily and im looking for abit of info regarding the dash display (odometer, trip computer, warning lights etc).

The cars is approaching 60 000km and the service reminder is displayed each time the car is started. Ive had a quick flick through the handbook but disabling this display is not touched on.

I have been told this display can be disabled without diagnostic equipment and that its a simple code for the settings/mode buttons?

Any help would be apriciated

For VU if its the same i think its, is ignition off, hold both up down buttons for like 5 seconds, reset appears on dash. push mode once and turn ignition on.

Been a while since ive worked on a holden
