Hi all,
Ok, so I just got my final results for the final semester of my degree, i've officially passed - just got to graduate.
This leaves me with a piece of paper and 15k debt.. great :D
But what is really on my mind... is the 3 and a half years of textbooks for what.. 30 subjects? that I have accumulated... the pile is large. It could be valuable. What should I do with them?
Bonfire or sell on Ebay? Has anyone still got textbooks from uni/tafe/school hanging around? Are they any use ??

my tip is dont buy them in the 1st place,
u neva use them, if u do u can borrow them from sum1 else or the library
i have 3 books in front of me now that are in mint condition, never been opened in 6 months and cost like 250 between them
worst comes to worst u can go buy it at the book shop wen u find out u need it

I was lucky when i finished doing psych a friend of mine started so i managed to sell most of my books.
I suggest u sell them, alot of people tend to want second hand books. Or if their not too shabby try selling them to a second hand book store?

yeah alot of the books probably wont be worth much... but ur best bet is to try 2nd hand bookstores or advertise on uni noticeboards/msg boards..
im keeping mine atm purely to the fact editions have changed.. ALREADY and lecturers and tutors are having a whinge over it even tho there are probably only two words different from edition to edition but oh well, yet another expense of uni

i hate the fucking book companies that say, change one letter on page 234 and say it s anew edition, and force you to buy new and not used GRR

yeh those e-commerce books are notorious for being outdated after 1 semester, waste of fucking money.
add $1200 worth of books to an $18000 hecs bill at the end of it all... fucked! :(
ahh well at least i dont have to pay it off all at once.

mmm
one of my lecturers today had a stack of our text books that he got straight from the publisher, was selling them for a fraction cheaper than uni bookshop,
what a nice man!
was he trying to chat you up
thats sexual harrassment
most uni lecturers are dirty peadophiles who think they own the world
on that note
i have some old books for sale!
:) haha nah im not selling them , rather burning them like all my high school shit
