well, these useless pack of morons may as well not go to the world cup!

they beat england 5-0 in the ashes and everyone is like omg wow

then they lose 5 in a row including one day series to england - meh no biggie, resting people before the world cup

they then go to new zealand, and get SMOKED

how the **** do you score 330 odd and lose!

then the next match

score 346 and LOSE

these ****s are useless!

bit harsh tjizzle.

i wouldnt call them useless, just undermanned and worn out.

at full strength they will dominate, but they are far from that at the moment.

until last week, they were the #1 team in the world, and had been for a long time. If a useless team is #1 (now #2) in the world, then that doesnt say much for their competition does it.

Its a vicious cycle, the Aussies have been on top for so long, now they are getting old etc. Cant be number 1 forever, look at the Brisbane Lions! kings of the AFL 3yrs running, then sh*t......

Useless pricks, they should have been more humble with their victories. Good so see their losses are being rubbed in their faces.

i'm agreeing with what warney said
they're training too hard and are too ****in buggered to play the game at their high standards

336 and 345. bloody good scores...so it aint the batting....fielding and bowling the problem maybe??

but yeah if u cant win when making those scores soemthings wrong in hte field!!! althoug a few of those bowlers they took to NZ are ****ign useless.

yeah, when they lost the first game again NZ, it was described as the worst fielding/bowling display by australian ODI team in many years.

appart from bracken and lee, they dont have any decent pace bowlers with i'national experience. they are on the verge of a major rebuilding phase i reckon.

What everyone quickly forgets is there were only two major international first class players left carrying the side - Huss & Ooh-aah. Ponting - out, Gilly - out, Symonds - out, Lee - out.
At the moment apart from the obvious injuries they are running a rotation policy to rest the big names before the World Cup & so they should as the Chappel-Hadlee trophy means **** all in the grand scheme of things. This is going to happen more often as well with the selectors having to blood the newer guys & get them some international experience.
There will be a dip in performance but after being on top for so long you've got to expect that with retirements etc.
Bit more competition will make it interesting & after going to the WACA test & seeing them regain the Ashes & then seeing them towel the poms up in 3 days in the stands at the 'G' even these few losses can't wipe the smile off my face.
Still my pick to take out the WC.

Hahaha, cricket is like chess to me, slow and boring *yawn*.

Why do they even call it a sport? Out of all the players that are on the field, only three ever do anything. I thought sport was meant to be about physical exertion. I played some cricket at high school, the 45 minutes that I played (or however long the phys ed classes were), I only ever really did something for 10 minutes, the rest of the time I just stood there waiting for the ball to fly in my direction. I could have just as well sat there eating donuts! Cricket is not sport at all, footy now that is a real sport. Where it actually comes down to human physical strength and endurance and so on. Not just standing around.

Oh, and as opposed to footy, if you say watch cricket on TV, if your power goes out for 10 minutes, you havent really missed anything. Whereas in footy, you have to watch it the whole time or you will miss action. Yeah that's it, there is so little action in cricket it just bores the crap out of me.

/end my cricket rant :)
