My liquid filled autometer boost gauge is inaccurate.

Turn the car off and the needle will sit anywhere from +1 or 3psi. So who knows how much boost the bunky is making.
I've fiddled with that screw so many times and can never get it accurate.
Usually depending how hot/long the cars been sitting..

Turning it all the way out gets it closest to zero, but oil leaks all over the dash.

any suggestions?

Yeah...piss it off and buy a proper Jap electric gauge.

Mech gauges just arent as accurate as a proper electronic stepper gauge.

You can have your gauge recalibrated, but depending on how much it costs, it might not be worth it. At the end of the day it'll still be a mechanical gauge.
