Guys,

Saw an old issue of HPI (not too old)

There was small box , displays oil and water temps, and controlls what temp your fans come on at.

Was around the 120 dollar mark, I do need one of these myself, but cant for the life of my find the article.

Any help is much appreciated.

In the article posted by teejay it says it can monitor oil and water. Yet in the link provided by tuyen it says water only. I take it its one or the other?

Give me a PM teejay and let me know where you end up sourcing one of these from and how much it ends up costing you. Cheers.

Im yet to search but anyone who stocks pivot should have one

article says 120 and contact details of the person to get them off...
Tuyens link says 150 - in between will be fine :)

But I take it its either oil or water, not both? Anyone care to enlighten me.

they both are by pivot, but the one tj posted is pivot SUPER temp controller. allows monitoring of water and oil and fan controls. while the one i posted is old model, only allowing for fan and water temp monitoring.

BT-Revolutions are pivot resellers for Australia. can give them an email ask how much it is including postage.

http://www.bt-revolution.com/Electronic%20Controller.htm (has prices and pics of both models)

hope that helps

Why are they so much more pricey then the HPI price?

Tj did you end up buying one of these pivot controllers?

Nope, ended up going Defi gauge and control unit.

I didnt need the controller, just wanted a good temp gauge. My motec switches the fans on at the preset temp anyhow.

I have a friend who runs one in his Galant, reckons it works really well. What do you need to find out?
