just saw it tonight with a mate and his mrs and my mrs. went into the movie making ZzZZz ZzZZz noises (chainsaw) and came out doing the same thing :D

fark, its pretty fullon. ppl getting strung up and chopped n shit. i wont say more due to those that might wanna c it

but shit, that would have been bad seeing as it was based on a true story :eek: :(

It's inspired by a true story, not based on a true story. Big difference. Main one being there is no need for any kind of accuracy.

The main difference between this and the original, from what I've read, is that there is absolutely no kind of comic relief whatsoever in this one.

And I doubt it's the kind of movie anyone would really take their gf/date/whatever to see.

I thought the movie was cool! and yeah there was a fair bit of humour at the beginning i thought too? anyways i read up on the guy they very loosely based the movie on, his name is Ed Gein. to save you looking it up heres a quote from a site i found

I've read a few things about Ed Gein before and he seemed like a real charmer. I'm not sure if it was Ed or Ted Bundy who also used to dress up as a clown and attacked children.

Salted vulvas sounds a bit odd too.
