Car sounds wicked and it chopped the ford sierras on the straight. 2.3 ltr love :)

I thought it looked like a sprinter too. Love the old 4cyl M3s.

I thought it looked like a sprinter as well but when you listen to commentry he says something about ford sierras being over taken.
So not sure :S
definately not a sierra, they would piss all over that beemer

Not neccesary they were all limited to set hp and were given weight penalties etc etc...
The E30 M3 was the lightest and also had 50 \ 50 weight distribution hence it was known for its good handling. It got chopped by the 32 gtr's on straights and i imagine it would be the same with the sierras
brocky went to a sierra after the beemer didnt he?

He did drive a fair few cars.

those were great days. pity they changed the format to 2 car.

Yeah he had a short stint in a Sierra after that.
Everything chopped the Beemers down the straights, except obviously the lower class cars, but at the tighter tracks they raced at like Winton they came into their own.
Was good to watch, miss the Group A days.
