Car Clubs that do not have financial members (ie: people who pay for membership) need to raise money to fund outings such as PAS.

Not many people know that the last cruise was done by myself with a heap of help by TJ. The last cruise rocked and went hard and we are set to do it again.

One new way to raise some funds is to have pay by the leg cruise (only 50c each x 4 legs)giving us the oppotunity to help raise some money your club to enter PAS, thus when you pay money at the door for PAS you are going to see quality displays.

EVERY FORUM MEMBER NEEDS TO SUPPORT ANTILAG OR THEY DONT SURVIVE

So lets have a cruise bigger and better than the last one.

I went on the first antilag cruise and had a blast. Unfortunately missed the 2nd and 3rd due to other commitments and cactus car respectively and would love to come along again.

Dates around the end of august are good for me (day/night). Will be going to the plex on the 15th and cruising with the aus300zx boys, but weekend after would be perfect :)

I am fine with paying a small fee for a cruise map as it really does come back to us in the form of better events/shows inthe future (they better be good or else :slap: ;) )

Well , and without sounding up ourselves - considering how good the cruises usually are - paying 2 bucks for map shouldnt be a problem for most ppl - we try to make the cruises worth it.

plus you more then likely end up with your car on a site thats copping 40 000 hits a day.....

Id most likely just charge it at the start of the cruise - dont really want to print 4 seperate pages and collect 4 seperate tolls - be a pain in the ass

as for the money thing why dont you actually make antilag a registered and certified club with all the ppl that chat on here im sure theres alot of ppl that would join straight away and charge like 80 dollars membership and then 50 bucks each year after like all fours do. charging 5 bucks for a cruise map is fair enough but you will get ppl that just wait till the cruise moves and join in try make meet points one way in and one way out and when ppl pay for the map stamp there hand thats my two cents even though i wrote 2bucks worth

Im very happy to support Antilag and I would be glad to part with some money to keep such a great car club going. In my little 3 years of being involved with the Perth car scene, ive seen many clubs come and go. Nearly all of these clubs were "free" in such a way that the members didnt put a cent towards it. As a result, it just falls apart.

Ive seen how antilag has grown without hardly any funding for its cruises/events and Im very pleased, if anything, I owe antilag for providing my car with a Decal.

Its a decent club, with decent people in it, so why not put a little towards it, I know some people wouldnt have the money, but if you can afford fuel to cruise, im sure you can afford a small contribution to the club.

We often forget, while we are enjoying cruises, someone out there has taken the trouble to do the map, organise the cruise, take pictures and look after the website.

Thats just my 2 cents.

1. bring a c.b
2. bring 2 bucks - it will be used to cover the cruise map costs - before everyone gets angry - this does include an entry for some prizes to be won on the day, plus you have the chance to have your car in a 50 000 circulation national magazine , and the profits going towards hosting, pas , etc , etc and will be a one off - hopefully once the sites back up we will have sponsors
3. if you get a charming irish man asking you about your car, be nice - thats rick , and you may find him liking your car leads to good things
4. if for some reason you do not wish to have your cars photo published, please write down the cars details and rego on a piece of paper and give it to me during the cruise. we respect your right to say no
