Steaming......parked at Freshies in claremont at 7pm tonight, went in came back out and these people approach me and told me someone had backed into my car.....started to boil. Checked my car, the prick reversed into my veilside front bar and put a hole in it....slowly steaming. Then decided not to leave his details and do a runner. Luckily a couple got his plate number and two other guys said they saw it all. STEAMING

i know someone who had the same happen the them, a by stander gave him the details, when to cops, then court i think, and the guy who hit him had to pay for it all, and also i think he got a fine of some sort.

Pass the details onto the police and then your insurance company. The insurance company will deal with the damage, and the cops will do the other guy for leaving the scene of an accident (and quite possibly negligent driving).

Yeah i have pondered over all the ways i would return the favour to this person. I will do it through all the proper channels.....i will make sure he pays full retail on a new bumper and all the panel and paint associated. If he had stopped and approached me and said he had hit my car and would pay for the damage without any problems i would have helped him so it wouldnt cost too much. But because he did do a runner I will now take it to the limit.

Yeah I deal heaps with DPI, all the guys always visit at work and have a couple drinks.....but thanks for the offer anyway hehe

dont 4get the engine, hitting the front bar made the the horizontal disfibulators misalign causing major disruption to the double overhead chrome sumps which lead to an engine meltdown in sector 7. the total damage bill being; new veilside bar, engine, FMI, twin turbos (as they well unbalanced by the shockwave through the cooler pipes), front tyres (and rears cos u cant have different tyres), new rims (the fronts were dented by the blowout in the tyres as the fibreglass in the bar shot backwards), new lights etc etc, basicly he is up for about 20k cos he got scared
