yeah i could have, but the MINI is so much more than just a car, there is a whole community that goes with it, we have a BMW endorsed and sponsored club, clubMINI WA

Its hard to explain it really, im sure some folk think what a waste of money but at the end of the day I have a grin from ear to ear everytime I get behind the wheel, even after 3 years it still amazes the hell out of me. Every single time I park it and come out from the shops there is someone looking at it and it seems everyone has a mini story to tell, its a MINI adventure :)

Like everything in life, if your happy thats the main thing!

good point - exactly tho - sit in a 34GTR then sit in a mini Cooper S - ill tell you which feels better made, which will be more fun to throw around which will have a nicer interior - also, the mini is one of the best looking cars going around. Basically ur getting a pocketsized BMW for the money. and the John Cooper Works S is the top of the range for the minis...

you havnt come up against me yet ;) In all honesty though if i wanted seriously quick fastest car around there are many better options than the MINI. Course of roundabouts and corners i can tell you now nothing will come close to me.

ull beat all of them in a straight line..but its not about that, its about the total driving experience. ive driven one and its just such a responsive and fun car to throw around, and perfect to cruise around in because of its interior - very comfortable ride all round!

Depending on the mods anywhere between 10's and 15's I know a dude in the US currently finishing his engine, stroked, twincharged and running nitrous capable of running 9's.

Mine should run mid 12's judging by dudes over east with similar setups. I can tell you that it does over 240 kph (off the clock), will do 120kph in second without any worries and blows away undercover pursuit cop cars so ive discovered :(

are you sure about mid 12s? thats pretty optimistic for a FWD isnt it?

it should do, or not very far off. Like i say I have not had the chance to take it down to whoopass wednesday so i am only guesstimating but i know dudes over east who do mid 12's and their's is pretty much the same mods as me.

Having said that I have never been down the 1/4 mile in anything so from what ive heard there is alot involved with launching etc. With a decent driver it woud do very well, with me its another story! :)

ok guys seems i may have been speaking out my ass a bit, just spoke with mates over east and mid 13's to low 14's is the average for 1/4 mile though one dude ran

60ft 2.083
330ft 5.567
660ft 8.390
mph 86.23
1000ft 10.772
1/4 12.915
mph 107.74

Have attached a few pics of the twincharged beast in progress that should run 9's, when last dynoed was 450bhp at the wheel
