HAHA... Nice article man.. Im riding an aluminium GT at the moment... bought it 2nd hand never new what model it was till now... Its a GT zaksar but its been polished. shimano gear sets and cranks, marozocchi bomber shocks. I'll post it up when the rims come back from JCC (mates shop). Ive also had a heap of Haro 20"'s, Specialized 20"s and my only racer was a Avanti edge (before they become such a base model). Who do you get ya gear through??

had my fair share of bmx's when i was a wee lil lad, haro's, redline's, parkpre, balance, dyno, torker. My fav was probably the Balance with Odyssey T1000 rims and stuff, they were bling back in the day!
Now i have an aluminium GT mtb just to cruise around the river and stuff

Will get some pics up of my 06 shttr tommorrow.

Specialized Fuse 440. 20". everything = oversized.

mods:- taking off the homo-spec pegs
- Maxxis 20" hookworms, flatland 4 lyfe. 110psi!

previous rides, had a few haro's, had one ganked, sean (rx4) bought my old haro last year, many a redline.

used to race cross country on a old shogun (also stolen) with RST 251 shockies back in 98, got sick of eating sh!t into logs at jarradale so reverted back to bmx and since then havn't strayed.

More toys eh. Ross what happens to all your old bikes, do you break them all or something, you seem to have had more bikes than women.

I never had anything special in the way of bikes but i used to have the most fun riding to and from school 5km either way (up hill to, and downhill from) the bridle trail in Darlington to Glen Forrest, used to ride thru the quarries, down the creeks, jumps on the bridle path etc. Only got one large scar to prove that. But becoz i rode a ****ter i abused it. ahhh NORTHERN STAR lol (no thats not Malvern Star). Usually had the knobbliest 2.35 tyres on it i could afford. Plus it never usually had any rear brakes, just front ones, and the front wheel had about 3 buckles in it (so it was like ABS n ****). And i used to ride down 30 degree hills on that bike hahaha.

now i just got some Raleigh 15spd thing.

man $700 got u a pretty standard GIANT or APOLLO back in my day, no shocks, no bar ends, just 15 gears. Hell you still got chrome wheels for that price.
