Does anyone know what a standed shiping cost for a bumper from Japan would cost to get to australia(Perth).
Iv found the bumber i want on www.japanparts.com, good site by the way, the price of the bumper was good but they want to charge $850 for shiping!!!! is this normal? it would be by air by the way.
anyone know a cheep way of importing stuff like this?

import by sea = cheaper
usually 4-6 weeks wait minimum

EMS = small light items , gauges/ecu and the like, 3 weeks ~100 -> 200 for EMS
Container = Large items, rims/bars/doors/windows etc 10 weeks ~ 300 for shipping

hmmm ah k, yeh those prices seem to match the site. It is gona cost around 300 for a bumper by sea. but the delivery time will be cuttin it close to motorvation. ahhh what to do... I better order now i think, any one know the deal when bringing somthin like this in to the docks, can i go pick it up from there or whats the usual prosedure
