ok its time for a turbo on the lexus, the is300 came with a 2jz vvti standard non turbo. its been a good 8 months and i thought it was about time id slap on a turbo since the brakes and suspension have been done. i was looking at towards the to4z but i cant find a kit that would suit, so im up for opinions
so does anyone have a idea on what should go on and where i can find the kit. needs to be in a kit to save me the trouble of running around looking for parts.
im looking for a good amount of power, something that would give me good times. exact amount of hp is unsure.

thanks in advance guys and girls..

the state would be best place to look for a full kit

wouldnt be so hard to find all the parts seperatly, especially if ur buying new

if ur not going for nuts power, id use a garrett gt3540r or gt40
put a thicker head gasket in to drop compresion a bit and ull be making some decent power

its gonna cost u a decent amount of coin, since im in the middle of doin the same thing. and if u buy a china manifold, the wastegate pipe hits your steering rod and needs to be modified. plus ecu, turbo, gate, headgasket, fuel pump, injectors, coooler

there was i nice is300 in one of the ignition dvds, the car looked hot and had a turbo kit on the side, sounded very nice too:) doing up something different will always cost extra compared to something a lot of people have modified, but its often worth spending money, time and effort on.:boink:
