I'm getting a bit of money togther and thinking of importing one of these puppies!

Was going to get a R32 gts-t but they don't look great stock and i wont have bulk money to do it up! Also every pingpingpingping and his dog are importing them atm and i want something different.

I know that they r on the larger side of slim but they come with 270hp stock so that should be overcome with a bit more boost :)

They apparently come with these extra parts on top of a stock supra

Larger cams
Larger injectors
TRD twin plate HD clutch
Higher boost level with an upgraded compressor wheel on the turbo
TRD limited slip diff (with longer legs than the standard Supra)
TRD / Bilstein suspension
Leather interior

which i was thinking was a good start to getting some decent power, does anyone know what turbos they run and some cheap turbo upgrades apart from just getting the orignial hiflowed?

Just want some comments and thoughts on what u guys think, has anyone ever driven or been in a "turbo a" model?

Standard turbo should be a CT26.

Be prepared to have to rebuild the clutch and probably the shocks and diff too.

Decent choice I reckon,
Fairly large heavy cars tho, the 7MGTE is a solid enough motor, and with the extra mods/hp should be a better performer.

Only things to look out for are headgaskets (incorrect settings from factory, but dunno if they fixed it in GRPA), and they have a tendancy to do bearings once you get a bit of power out of them. And oil leaks :)

Pretty sure the Turbo A model uses a TRD metal head gasket. Be worth checking anyway though.

thats exactly why ahahah

supras (mk3's) are heavy and cost money to make em handle, they have problems like power steering leaking chronically.

poombahs sup is a totally different car to the turbo A this guy wants.

supra's are big and do weigh heaps but are mechanically far superior to any given GTS skyline from standard. (JZ's not MA's)
