Just thinking about how much time I waste sitting in traffic every day...

My mighty daily spends about 45 minutes every morning in bumper to bumper (covering about 25km) travelling to work. On the way home its only about 35 minutes for the same trip (After 530pm), thats in peak hour.

If its out of peak hour it can take about 25-30 minutes, which is a bit better :)

If I was to take public transport, it'd take me 20 minutes to walk to the train station.... 30 minutes to get the train down... and another 20 minutes to walk... I think i'll continue to drive :)

15-25mins to get to work

25 mins to get home.

Takes about 15mins on a non-work day to cover the same route.

30-45 Minutes to work (35km trip) during peak hour traffic (slow trucks down hill and dickheads with tractors on main roads) and about 35mins home. Half the journey is spent at over 100kmph tho, depenmding on cockhead drivers in 110kmph zone.

Takes me about 2 minutes to get to work also, but to Tafe it takes 50-60min by bus and then another 15 minutes of walking each way.

"the joys of living in the sticks" indeed.

yeah about 25-30 min, sometimes more sometimes less, i know with a clear road and good lights i can make Midland to Perth in 20 min doing just above the speed limit but not fast enough to get flashed by a multinova.

I really depends on how many fukn cnts are on ther road that can't drive for $hit and probably got their licence out of a wheetries packet (like me :P, haha) fark i swear people are getting worse at driving, they must just give away free licenses lkike america does with green cards. I swear you shouldn't have your licence if your not confident enough to be on the road or you can't follow simple road rules, so many people i see and you can tell they are nervous driving around. Meh my little whinge.....

Yeah peak hour traffic sucks badly....

I had a mate who's just changed jobs, but for her old one she was on the road for an hour and a half or more each way. She lives in Kingsley and worked in Rockingham, i used to pity her trips down the freeway....

Currently bussing it. When driving, it depends what shift I'm working.

Starting at 7, it takes about 20 minutes each way between Ermington and Chatswood. But if I start at 8, it takes about 4-50 minutes each way. Gotta love peak periods.

When I move, I intend to cut out 1 of my bus trips, so it should only take about 20-30 minutes on the bus, and will be much cheaper than paying for fuel AND parking at work.

5 mins by car , 3 minutes by bike cos I can use the shortcut cycle path.
I knew there was a reason why I bought the factory unit in Malaga and live in Ballajura :)

Takes 15mins by bike to get home cos it's all uphill and I'm old...

Cheers
