OUR FIRST POLE POSITION MOTORSPORT EVENT DETAILS BELOW!!!:
Where: AHG Driving Centre, AHG driving complex. 46 Grogan Rd, Perth International Airport.
When: Sunday, 10th September 12.30pm- 4.30pm. (At 12pm BBQ kicks off for those who want lunch!)
Cost: $70
Safety Requirements: Must have Road Registered vehicle and current C class Drivers License. (No other special license or safety gear required), a full tank of petrol and Comfortable driving shoes etc.
Details:
The 2 instructors for the day will be Pole Position's "poster boy", Alex (the Animal) Friedrich and Joel Richards. A maximum number of 16 entrants is permitted... so now's the time to get your registrations in fast!
For those who have never seen a motorkhana/skid pan event, courses will be marked by orange cones and will start off with a basic slalom style run to help orientate the driver and demonstrate the basics covered in the 10min 'drivers briefing' held at the beginning of the day. Courses are then randomly selected based on group decision. You will usually fit in around 4 courses within a session. A sausage sizzle BBQ will also be provided at minimal "gold coin" cost, drinks are available from vending machines at AHG complex.
