Guys,
I have just aquired a set of 32 gtst rims (Cheers Nick!) and my other rims - standard 33 gtst rims are both low.
Now - What would you guys recommend?
Basically an all round wet and dry tyre that would handle the very rare track day and drags night.
And whats the widest size on both rims?
Currently both have 225's on them
Post all info here guys n gals!
Cheers,
Chris

Triangles. They do the job, and are very cheap. See if anyone in NSW is bringing them in.

Toyo Proxess FZ4 or Bridgestone Potenza RE050's...
got two on front and two on rear... both awesome in any weather, i don't drive too hard though
good tread life too and MIGHT just fit in your budget? don't know if FZ4 in production anymore though, hard to find now i know... just ask some tyre places (worth a shot)
my2c
(hope that helped, it probably didn't though lol... i apologise if that's the case)

hankook ventus sport k104, yokohama es100 would be top of my list.
NOT FULDA EXCELLERO CHUBB
fantastic wet tyre, but when they get too hot they lose all grip on the track
if you were to run them on the track, put nitrogen in them to keep the temp down.

Wanli's are supercheap, super for drift, super for burnouts (they smoke heaps!) and are like $100 a tyre for 16 and 17 common sizes if you know the right people.

I've organised it with Scott from Tech9Tyres in Myaree.
He will do a discount price on Triangles for Antilag members.
For 17/40/235's, it will be $115 per tyre. Retail is well over 130+.
You just have to say I sent you and you're from Antilag.

Poombah wanli's are the WORST tyre I have ever driven on. Just driving normally in the rain was dangerous.

nexen n3000's arent too bad if on a limited budget. soft silica compound, not awesome in the wet though (comparable with non-sporty tyre)

They sound like Kenda's, they are like 70-80 bucks each, but I wouldn't put them on my lawnmower....
I'm a big fan of Federal's and Nankangs. Both have done me well..
